Customized cast ductile iron bars are designed to meet specific requirements of the customers. These bars are made by casting molten iron into a mold of desired shape and size. The ductile iron used in these bars has a higher tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation than grey iron. The customization of cast ductile iron bars can be done in terms of shape, size, and composition. The shape of the bar can be made into round, square, or rectangular shape, depending on the application. The size of the bar can also be customized according to the customer's requirement. The composition of the ductile iron used in the bar can also be customized. The composition can be adjusted to meet specific mechanical properties required by the customer. For example, the composition can be adjusted to increase the strength, hardness, or corrosion resistance of the bar. Customized cast ductile iron bars are used in various applications such as construction, automotive, and agricultural industries. These bars are used in the manufacturing of gears, bearings, and machine parts. They are also used in the construction of bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure projects.

Production Flow
continuous casting process begins with water-cooled graphite die that is machined to form the shape of the bar.
The die is mounted on a bar machine crucible. As the bar is pulled horizontally from the crucible, the head pressure feeds molten iron into the die, producing a fine-grained cast iron bar.
Since the bar is being pulled from the bottom of the holding crucible, dross, slag, and other impurities float to the top, away from the opening of the die. Great Steel process enables the microstructure to be free from shrinkage, gas holes, and other tool-wearing inclusions.
